    I live by a canal and there are many wooden areas tucked away to discover. My personal belief is that all living things have a spirit in them, including plants and trees. They are alive. They grow, they require nourishment and sunlight, and they have a survival instinct. Maybe they can talk to each other or have thoughts?? Humans can't say for sure either way, even if it is a stretch of the imagination, or just sounds silly. We know that animals have complex thoughts and communication skills, even though we don't speak their languages. So, it is possible that all living things may be able to communicate with each other, and have emotion. Humans should show more respect for all nature, and cherish it's beauty.
