The Basics

I have been blogging a lot lately about conditions under Communism in other countries. The United States has a rather large issue with discrimination of the poor, and against those who lost their jobs and haven't been able to dig themselves out of poverty. Other than few cases, it is a myth that people can have all that they need in a capitalist society without capital, and a myth that they can obtain capital without the means to do so- this popular myth is a right wing extremists favorite weapon, not their guns contrary to popular belief by the middle and left. There is growing number of people who believe in those myths, it is called blaming the victim theory. It is the same theory that blames women for being raped. The poor who complain about their conditions or ask for help by their government that helped cause it and the ones trying to help them survive are being discriminated against as well. A method of mine to help is debunking the myths about the poor believed out of plain ignorance, lack of education, or brought on by propaganda by right wing extremists. There is a growing list of tent cities, and a growing list of documentaries about them, and about economic conditions in the United States if you are under a certain income bracket, job or not. Unfortunately, it is no match for the discrimination of the poor by the foolish and sociopathic yet. With their comments, policies, and growing violence towards the poor, including of course, by the right wing of our Congress and House of Representatives, even some on the left, and state governments, as well as military and police. It has been a rampage for decades now for selfish interests by it's leaders, and is no better than pogroms. Scores of people have literally died, not just been politically undermined and forced into terrible conditions, so if the holocaust of the the poor is ever to stop, laws need to be made to protect and help them, they need to be enforced, and so do the ones we already have. Americans need decent housing, decent jobs, access to medical care, and access to food as a general rule.
