Minimum wage earners are the new middle class? I predicted some time ago that this may happen eventually, but it isn't quite yet. But this is what happens when people and their basic needs are devalued and billionaires and huge companies pay little or no taxes and control the government and the economy. Time to address Mollie's Measure and it's failure to include inflation, changes in family dynamic post 1950's when it was established in good faith, societal norms, standards of living, etc. This in addition to raising wages to a standard to include a roof over ones head that is decent, to put nutritious food on the table, and to take care of basic needs without assistance for themselves and their dependents. That should be a basic right of a worker, that of course was the notion of a minimum wage in the first place.
