Equal Rights for All

I choose to be on the right side of history, and not the wrong side. Religion is important for MANY, and most people who support gay civil rights do not want to deny ANYONE their own personal beliefs. However, religion doesn't belong in our lawmaking due to separation of church and state. The US was founded on the basis of freedom of religion! How can religion be forced upon us?! How can a woman be told to die on the table who has had a life threatening complication arise during pregnancy? North Dakota is not a good place to be now if you are a woman! "God's Will" has taken over the laws there. Federally, women are protected under Roe V Wade, and federally, gay people should be allowed the same civil rights as everyone else. The Supreme Court will have to honor the Civil Rights Amendment to the Constitution and not allow religion and bigotry to make laws. If not them, then who will remedy it?
